Purpose

Bullets of Freedom is a journey of consciousness-building and resistance, following a freedom fighter in the ongoing struggle for liberation. Inspired by the legacy of Leila Khaled, he finds solace in her autobiography, delving into stories of resistance and courage that continue to resonate today.

At the heart of the film is the bullet ring, recreated for a special fundraiser supporting MECA’s efforts in Palestine. More than a piece of jewelry, the ring is a powerful symbol of resistance and revolutionary consciousness. Its story intertwines with the film’s narrative, underscoring the importance of honoring those who came before and fueling the fight for freedom today.

This film is both a tribute to the revolutionaries and a call to action, reminding us that every gesture, no matter how small, can become part of the greater struggle for liberation.
